Cigarette detection systems can be used in public buildings where smoking on site is forbidden. Cigarette flame detectors will catch offenders in the process of lighting up and alert staff to the scene.

Flame detectors are more suitable than smoke detectors for open areas and building entrances where high winds and intermittent vapours might affect the detection of smoke.

The Cig-Arrete controller acts as a central monitoring panel, designed to provide audible and visual indication when a detector has been activated or if a fault has been detected. The controller is ideal for applications where remote monitoring of up to 5 detection zones is required, and can be used with both the original Cig-Arrete and the SD Evolution detection range.
